Authors for a cure!

Anyone who knows me knows I am all about helping people–especially Indie authors. This particular cause benefits both Indie authors and those who suffer Type 1 Diabetes. I have a personal connection to this cause. My baby sister was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes at the age of ten. There have been many instances where she became so sick we thought we’d lose her. This type of diabetes affects every aspect of the sufferer’s existence and can become life-threatening very quickly.

I’m happy to support this event to help raise awareness about this life-stealing disease. Together, we can find a cure and end the suffering!

    1. Oh my goodness, Alan. I’m so sorry for your loss. That poem is beautiful. I adore poetry. Would you mind me sharing this on social media?

  1. That is fantastic! I personally am a type 2 diabetic, but my partner is type 1, as is his brother. There are not enough awareness events for Diabetes out there, so I am excited for this one! Thank you so much for sharing.
